Clinton, Propect, and Franklin Streets a long time ago!

This very old photo of Milford was taken from what looks like the vacinity of the sharp corner on Prospect street. The view is looking down towards Clinton and Franklin streets. The road going up the hill in the middle of the picture is Franklin Street and the road with the horse & carriage (if you look close enough) is Clinton street. All 6 of the buildings you see in this picture still stand today. If you look close in the left side of the picture, you can see Eagle Hall (or perhaps Town Hall) and on the very left edge, you can see the steeple of the old Baptist church on South street.

A great restaurant from Milford's past

Lots of great restaurants have called Milford home over the years. We've seen a lot of them come and go! Two of my favorites were the White Horse Inn and Elisha's both on Nashua street on the East side of town for many years. I took this picture in 2010. We would love to hear your memories of Elisha's restaurant!
